artasfoundation is an independent Swiss foundation for art in regions of conflict, based in Zurich. Established in 2011 and financed by private contributions, artasfoundation initiates its own art projects, accompanies their realisation and investigates how art can support conflict mediation and peacebuilding.

Based in Berne, Switzerland, artlink has been promoting understanding and cohesion through culture since 1984 – both on a local and on a global level. The organisation empowers artistsand cultural practitioners mainly from Africa, Latin America, Asia and Eastern Europe and connects the cultural landscape of Switzerland with the world. As the only organisation in Switzerland working across culture, international cooperation and inclusion, it promotes equal opportunities for artists, creates spaces for dialogue and lived-in diversity, and sparks systemic change by advocating for culture and cultural diversity on a political and societal level.
